Dog the Bounty Hunter
Due to the worldwide media focus surrounding the search for Brian Laundrie,
a well-known face has found itself at the center of attention.
It was alleged last week that actor Duane “Dog” Chapman, who featured in eight seasons of A&E’s “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” knocked on the door of Laundrie’s parents’ home in North Port and apparently searched Fort De Soto for clues to his whereabouts.
The FBI examines Brian Laundrie’s new phone and surveillance footage from the Fort De Soto campsite, both of which he purchased.
Dog told E! News that he’s received “an avalanche of suggestions” about Brian Laundrie’s whereabouts. “Neighbors, friends, and others who may have only recently seen Brian are sharing an incredible quantity of information. For the benefit of Brian’s family and friends, I’d want to reiterate that our goal is to bring him back to safety. Bring him in, and we’ll have a fighting chance. If Brian’s relatives and friends want to help, they’ll help us find him so we can put a stop to this conflict amicably.”
Variety says that Chapman has been planning his return to reality TV as he makes headlines once again.
After a physical incident with a student, the Polk County high school football coach has decided to resign.
A bounty hunter has reportedly been proposing a new program about his daily life and exploits to production company Thinkfactory, according to a report.
After his family reported him missing on September 17, authorities are still looking for Laundrie. It was revealed on Tuesday that Laundrie had gone camping with his parents in September,
just before his fiancee, Gabby Petito, vanished. Petito’s death had a single suspect: Laundrie.
After Gabrielle Petito’s death, a grand jury indicted Laundrie for his “activities following the death of Gabrielle Petito.” The indictment alleged that Laundrie “knowingly and with intent to defraud” used a Capitol One Bank debit card and personal identification numbers for two accounts. A federal arrest warrant was issued for Laundrie last week, according to the FBI.
