On the set of “Black Panther 2,” Letitia Wright advocated anti-vax views: a report
THROUGH THE GLASS EYE OF LEITA WRIGHT
A stunt accident on the ‘Black Panther’ set sent Letitia Wright to the hospital.
After posting a video criticizing the COVID vaccine, Letitia Wright deleted her social media accounts.
A video of anti-COVID vaccine activist Letitia Wright has gotten her into hot water.
According to Letitia Wright, God delivered her from depression.
In the midst of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, Letitia Wright reportedly pushed anti-vaccination beliefs on the set of “Black Panther 2.”
The Guyanese-born British actress, 27, made her on-set comments against getting jabbed while the Marvel film was being shot in Atlanta, a source informed The Hollywood Reporter.
Wright also posted anti-vax social media posts last year that, according to THR, led to the departure of her staff.
According to the publication, “[Wright] secretly parted ways with her whole U.S. team after receiving anger over her December uploading of a notorious anti-vaccine film.”
Her publicist did not react right away when we emailed her for comment.
The actress, as previously reported by Page Six, disabled her Twitter and Instagram accounts in response to backlash following the publication of a video preaching vaccination skepticism.
In the beginning, she tried to explain her viewpoint by writing to her detractors and saying, “if you don’t conform to public opinion. “You run the risk of being disqualified [laugh emoji].”
In response to criticism, Wright stated that she was only trying to offer more information when confronted with criticism.
“my intention was not to hurt anyone,
my only intention of posting the video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies, she stated. “There’s nothing else,”
Cheadle said that he would not “defend” Wright for posting the video,
but added: “I still won’t toss her away over it.”
No one has yet restored her social media accounts despite her first denial.
