KEN BLOCK
Ken Block is a professional rally driver and co-founder of the Hoonigan Racing Division. He was born on November 21, 1967, in Long Beach, California, and grew up in the nearby town of Dana Point. Block began his racing career in the late 1980s, competing in motocross and supercross events. In the mid-1990s, he switched to rally racing, and has since competed in events around the world, including the World Rally Championship, the Global RallyCross Championship, and the X Games.
In addition to his racing career, Block is also the co-founder of DC Shoes, a clothing and footwear company that he founded with Damon Way in 1994. The company has since become a major player in the skateboarding and extreme sports markets. Block is also known for his Gymkhana series of viral videos, in which he performs stunts in his high-powered rally cars. The videos, which have been viewed millions of times online, have helped to make Block a household name among fans of motorsports and extreme sports.

The accident occurred in Utah’s Wasatch County and the Sheriff’s Office said that Block was riding on a steep slope when the snowmobile upended and landed on top of him.
“He was pronounced deceased at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident,” they said in a statement, adding that he was riding in a group but was alone when the accident occurred.
Having begun his rallying career in 2005, Block was named Rookie of the Year in the Rally America Championship. He competed in the World Rally Championship and won several rallycross medals at the X Games.
The American also co-founded sportswear company DC Shoes and produced the Gymkhana video series, which featured him driving on dangerous tracks and obstacle courses. The series racked up millions of views on YouTube.
