Panthers waive safety J.T. Ibe after ‘unacceptable’ practice hit on WR Keith Kirkwood
After a frightening moment within the Carolina Panthers’ exercise Tuesday when extensive receiver Keith Kirkwood took a helmet-to-helmet hit from protection J.T. Ibe, train Matt Rhule defined Ibe’s blow as “unacceptable.”
So unacceptable that Ibe, an undrafted rookie loose agent who played collegiately at South Carolina, becomes waived after exercise.
