Bachelor Nation has already seen couples form, couples break up, a nude contestant,
David Spade’s funny comments, and an always-drenched-in-sweat Tahzjuan Hawkins in only two episodes of Bachelor in Paradise season 7. Fans also got to experience their first self-elimination by none other than our Bachelor season 24 alum Victoria Paul, as if seeing all of this back to back wasn’t enough.
Victoria’s exit may have come as a surprise to some,
especially given the fact that she had begun to form a relationship with fellow competitor James Bonsall. But were her falsehoods too much for her to bear, or did she genuinely need to return home for unknown reasons? Below, we’ll tell you everything we know.
Why did Victoria P. leave Bachelor in Paradise last night?
Tammy Ly, a contestant on Bachelor in Paradise season 7, realized Victoria P. wasn’t playing a very honest game as she was looking for a rose. Tammy didn’t like the idea that her fellow participant allegedly used manipulation to earn a spot on the show for another week, and she didn’t like the fact that the same person was on the show looking for love despite having a partner back at home.
To Tammy, this was all part of Victoria’s complex scheme to increase the amount of time she and her purported boyfriend spent on the Bachelor. She gave this knowledge to the other contenders, including James, without hesitation.
Naturally, James was caught aback by the information and sought to know the truth from Victoria. Nevertheless, things became a little hot during the confrontation. Victoria P. first admitted to having a boyfriend weeks, if not days, before joining Bachelor in Paradise, but she didn’t believe she had to tell James about it just yet.
However, James questioned the sincerity of her answers, and it eventually shown that Victoria didn’t have genuine feelings for him, hardly remembering his first name. (Yikes!)
Victoria had nowhere else to turn after ruining her reputation on the beach and had no choice but to gather her belongings and return home. Despite the fact that Tammy is no longer on the show,
many fans couldn’t help but question if what she claimed was true or if it was simply another ruse by Tammy.
Is Victoria P. dating anyone back home?
Victoria P. does not appear to be on the market based on her Instagram,
but that doesn’t mean she is (or was) without a lover. She has yet to respond to the charges made against her on social media,
but we will keep you updated if she does.
Until then, don’t miss tonight’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise, which airs at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC!
