On Monday, September 13, the 41-year-old actor, who donned a classic black Versace suit for the evening, and the 32-year-old actress, who was still wearing her see-through Saint Laurent silver gown, exited The Metropolitan Museum of Art together.
After being seen together on several occasions earlier in the summer, Us Weekly revealed that the two were dating in August.
“They have a lot in common,” a source told Us last month. “They’re both extremely athletic and like
outdoor activities and being in the outdoors.” “They both work in Hollywood, but they also like getting
away from it all, which is why the [recent] upstate vacation was so enjoyable for them.”
While working on Tatum’s forthcoming directorial debut, Pussy Island, the two became friends.
“They each thought the other was cool, fun, and beautiful, but they never acted on it since they were
never single,” the insider said, adding that “things became romantic fast” once they started filming.
The Big Little Lies actress previously spoke out about why she wanted Karl Glusman to be her leading man
when she separated from him in December 2020 and divorced in August.
