Ben Stiller claims that his daughter is “very eloquent” about his “not being there” while she was growing up.
During a recent interview with Esquire, the “Zoolander” star discussed how his successful acting career has limited his ability to be a present parent.

“She’s very vocal about it, and she occasionally says things I don’t want to hear.” “It’s difficult to hear,” he said. “Because it’s me not being there in the same manner that my parents weren’t.” And I’d always thought to myself, “Well, I’m not going to do that.”

Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara were a successful comedic combo in the 1960s and 1970s when Stiller was born.
Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor have two daughters, Ella, 19, and Quinlin, 16, with whom he co-starred in “Zoolander.”
