The final score, summary, and highlights are as follows: Buffalo Bills 26, Miami Dolphins 11.
When the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins play Sunday afternoon at Highmark Stadium, the Bills will be seeking to beat the Dolphins for the second time in 2021, and for the seventh time in a row going back to 2018.
If the Bills win, it will be their longest winning streak in the long-running rivalry with the Dolphins. Of course, it would still fall short of Miami’s legendary 20-game victory run that spanned the whole decade of the 1970s by 13 games — more than six years’ worth of games.
Buffalo is 4-2 and leads the AFC East, while Miami’s season has gone up in flames with six consecutive defeats, beginning with a 35-0 setback to the Bills on Sept. 19, and its playoff aspirations have all but vanished.
Stay tuned throughout the day as Sal Maiorana and Ryan Miller deliver live updates.

The Bills beat the Dolphins 26-11 thanks to a touchdown run by Josh Allen.
Buffalo extended their advantage with another touchdown. On third down, Allen attempted to throw on a play-action, but instead scrambled for a 7-yard touchdown run. The Bills’ two-point conversion try was unsuccessful.

Tagovailoa is intercepted by Buffalo to secure the win.
Miami had the ball down two scores with 3:29 remaining and committed three consecutive turnovers. On second down, wide receiver DeVante Parker caught a ball over the middle. Jerry Hughes sacked Tua Tagovailoa, who fumbled. The Dolphins recovered it, but Tagovailoa subsequently threw an interception on the following play. Jordan Poyer, a safety, intercepted a ball over the middle and returned it 26 yards to the Dolphins’ 11-yard line.

Bills score on a field goal after a long drive – Bills 20, Dolphins 11
With the advantage, Buffalo kept the ball in the air. Josh Allen completed 13 and 11-yard passes to tight end Tommy Sweeney and connected with Cole Beasley for 20 yards on third-and-10. Allen broke through arm tackles for 12 yards to the Dolphins’ 23. Due to a low block penalty by guard Jon Feliciano, Allen’s 6-yard run to the Miami 7 was called back. Buffalo had a fourth-and-19 from the Dolphins’ 21 with 3:33 remaining after two more short completions. Tyler Bass hit a 39-yard field goal to put the Bills up by two possessions. Miami has used all three of its timeouts and has none remaining. It was a 69-yard drive that took 6:10 to complete.
The Buffalo offence scores a touchdown on consecutive drives, giving the Bills a 17-3 lead against the Dolphins.
Buffalo’s offensive has returned. The Bills marched 69 yards in 12 plays, culminating by a 19-yard touchdown throw from Josh Allen to Stefon Diggs, who celebrated by punting the ball into the stands. Diggs had a touchdown catch for the second time in as many games.
We’ll take that, thank you.

Cole Beasley has eight receptions for 86 yards for Buffalo in the second half.
The Bills’ previous two drives have gained more total yards than the rest of the game combined.

Bills score their first touchdown, extending their lead to 10-3 at 3:44. third quarter
Buffalo’s 13-play, 80-yard drive appeared to take forever, but it concluded in the end zone when Josh Allen passed to a wide-open Gabriel Davis from eight yards out.
The Bills were bailed out on third down the previous play when Dolphins defender Andrew Van Ginkel was penalised for pass interference on Tommy Sweeney, giving the Bills a first down and allowing them to score on the following play.
Cole Beasley, who had to miss a few plays due to an injury, led the drive with four receptions for 44 yards, including a crucial 15-yarder to convert a third-and-14.
Bills muff punt and pounce in end zone – 10:55 third quarter
Miami was unable to move the ball in the second half and punted following a three-and-out in which it gained 1 yard. Michael Palardy kicked a 47-yard field goal to the Bills’ 8. Isaiah McKenzie, the punt returner, chose to field the punt and muffed it. Jake Kumerow of Buffalo jumped on the ball in the back of the end zone to reclaim control. In the end zone, it was judged that a touchback had been dropped.
Tua SNEAKS. We’ve got a 6-point game in Buffalo.

Miami blunder results in a turnover in the end zone – halftime
The Bills had taken a halftime lead in 15 straight regular-season games, an NFL record, but that streak has come to an end as they strolled off the field with boos ringing in their ears as the game is knotted at 3-3.
The fact that the Bills are tied is a huge blessing. The Dolphins missed an early chip shot field goal and then turned the ball over in the red zone in the waning seconds of the first half when a shotgun kick bounced off TE Mike Gesicki, who was coming in motion, and Micah Hyde recovered to take certain points off the board.
That last possession was made possible when the Bills opted for a fourth-and-4 near midfield, but the play was blown up by the Miami defence, forcing Josh Allen to commit an intentional grounding penalty, giving Miami the ball at the Bills 41.
Bills offence had a disastrous second half -:46 second quarter
In the closing minute of the second quarter, Buffalo marched to the Dolphins’ 44-yard line but turned the ball over on downs. The Bills bled the time and seemed to be trying to force Miami to jump offsides before deciding whether to go for it, punt, or attempt a long range goal. Offsides looked to be shifted by a Miami defensive lineman. Allen assumed he had a free play despite the fact that no flag was thrown, so he called for the snap and was penalised for intentional grounding while being pushed by linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel. On downs, Miami took over at the Bills’ 41-yard line.
The Dolphins tie the game with a 51-yard field goal.
To say that the game’s start has not gone as planned would be an understatement. Jason Sanders made up for his earlier mistake with a 51-yard field goal with 8:10 remaining in the first half, tying the game at 3-3.
Buffalo’s offensive has been abysmal, to put it mildly. The Bills can’t seem to get any kind of running game going, and the Dolphins have been well prepared for the Bills’ passing game. They failed on third-and-1, and then Matt Haack shanked a 19-yard punt to give the Dolphins a driving start at the 35, where they marched for the tying field goal, aided by a massive third-down connection from Tua Tagovailoa to Myles Gaskin.
The Bills choose not to go for it, as Matt Haack punts 19 yards – 12:01 second quarter
For the second time in the half, Buffalo’s offence went three-and-out. Running back Zack Moss was sacked for a 1-yard loss, putting the Bills on fourth-and-2 from the 46-yard line. Sean McDermott elected to punt, and the ball deflected off the foot of punter Matt Haack for 19 yards to the Dolphins’ 35.
To end the first quarter, Mario Addison sacks Tua.
Miami has had some success with a short passing game — wide receiver DeVante Parker has four receptions for 60 yards — but defensive end Mario Addison knocked Tua Tagovailoa down at the conclusion of the quarter. On the last play of the first quarter, Addison sacked Tagovailoa for a 5-yard loss, giving Miami a third-and-20 to begin the second quarter.
Bills take a 3-0 lead with a 57-yard field goal at 3:48. first quarter
Miami’s Jason Sanders couldn’t convert a 36-yard field goal on the Dolphins’ opening possession, but Buffalo’s Tyler Bass turned around and blasted a 57-yarder to put Buffalo up 3-0 with 3:48 gone in the first quarter.
The Bills offence, on the other hand, has had a rough start. The Bills’ first drive ended in a three-and-out, and following Sanders’ mistake, the only reason they were in position for Bass’ field goal was because Josh Allen broke free on a 34-yard run.
The remainder of the drive was abysmal, including a baffling play call on third-and-9 from the Miami 39 in which Allen retained the ball on a planned run with little chance of gaining a first down.
Miami comes up short after missing a field goal.
The Dolphins drove 56 yards in 112 plays to the Bills’ 18-yard line but failed to score. Tua Tagovailoa made two third-down conversions on the drive, which finished with kicker Jason Sanders missing a 36-yard range goal attempt.
Buffalo begins with a three-and-out at 13:25 in the first quarter.
The Bills were the first to receive the ball and went three-and-out. Devin Singletary gained 5 yards on two rushes, while Josh Allen’s third-down pass to Stefon Diggs fell incomplete. Buffalo entered the game ranked second in the NFL in third-down conversion percentage at 50%.

At Highmark Stadium, the Juice is on the loose.

O.J. Simpson, one of the best Bills players in history and a Pro Football Hall of Famer, but also one of the most despised people in America for obvious reasons, is visiting Highmark Stadium today.
He’s in a suite – no clue who it belongs to – on the Bills side of the field, near the primary scoreboard. He was out in the parking lot before the game, posing for photos with fans, and once in the suite, he released a 90-second selfie video stating how happy he was to be back in Buffalo to watch his Bills.
Later, he recognised supporters in the stands directly in front of him, thanking them for whatever they were saying.
As far as I know, Simpson hasn’t attended a Bills game since before he was incarcerated in 2008. He has been free since October 1, 2017.
Kahale Warring, a tight end, will make his Bills debut.
Tight end Kahale Warring is one of the players on the field on Sunday that you may not have heard of.
With Dawson Knox out with a broken hand, the Bills were down to Tommy Sweeney and hybrid tight end/fullback Reggie Gilliam at the position, thus Warring was activated off the practise squad on Saturday.
Warring was signed by the Bills late in the preseason, and this is his first appearance. He was a third-round selection of the Texans in 2019 out of San Diego State, where he caught 51 receptions for 637 yards and eight touchdowns.
He missed the whole year of 2019 due to a concussion and only appeared in seven games for Houston in 2020, catching three catches for 35 yards. This year, he attended training camp and the preseason with the Texans before being released on Aug. 23, kicking off a trip that saw him signed and released by the Patriots and Colts before arriving in Buffalo on Sept. 2.
Today, Phil Mickelson is pulling for the Buffalo Bills.
Phil Mickelson may or may not have been a Bills fan at some time in his life, but he is now.
Given that it being Halloween, numerous Bills arrived to the stadium in costume on Sunday morning. Josh Allen selected Mickelson to impersonate among the quarterbacks who dressed as golfers.

He was dressed in a visor, golf shirt, shorts, and shoes, and when he strolled into the locker room with the Bills’ video crew recording him, he copied some of Mickelson’s characteristic actions, such as thumbs up and visor tilting. Allen then pointed to his calves, a reference to Mickelson’s penchant for boasting about his calves.
The video was tweeted out with Mickelson tagged, and he noticed it and responded quickly, concluding with “GoBills.”
Spencer Brown is inactive for the Bills, as predicted.
The rookie right tackle did not practise all week and was rated as questionable, and the club made it official on Sunday morning – he’s out, and now we wait to see how the Bills will replace the vacancy.
Other inactives include tight end Dawson Knox, running back Matt Breida, and defensive lineman Justin Zimmer, Efe Obada, and Boogie Basham.

When guard Cody Ford was benched, Brown took over at right tackle, and Daryl Williams was promoted to RG to replace Ford in Week 4. The Bills should move Williams back to right tackle and start either Ford or Ike Boettger at right guard.
Of course, they still have Ryan Bates and youngster Tommy Doyle who can play tackle, but deploying either at that position seems improbable, thus Williams will remain at RT. If Boettger gets the start over Ford, it’s a significant indictment on Ford, the 2019 second-round pick who has struggled.
