CELEBRATE MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY IN LAS VEGAS.
The actual Mexican Independence Day is Sept. 16, but the whole week will be a celebration of the event, with some of the biggest Mexican music artists performing on the Strip to help mark the occasion.
Christian Nodal, who plays at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater on Sept. 14, has won three Latin Grammy Awards, two Billboard Latin Music Awards, and a Latin American Music Award in only a few years.
His song “Adios Amor,” released in 2017, peaked at No. 1 on the Top 20 General Mexican Songs Chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Top Latin Songs Chart. Me Dejé Llevar, Ahora, and AYAYAY! are his first three albums, all of which have been declared gold (his first two reached platinum).
Alejandro Fernández, who will play at MGM Grand on September 15-16, grew up in a musical family (his father is ranchera icon Vicente Fernández) and has been performing since the age of five.
He’s moving out from traditional Mexican music into popular pop since debut album in 1992, collaborating with everyone from Rod Stewart and Placido Domingo to Christina Aguilera and Beyoncé.

He’s also become one of the most successful Latin music singers of all time, with over 20 million records sold worldwide.
Camila, a Mexican pop singer, will play at Tropicana Las Vegas on Sept. 18. Mario Domm and Pablo Hurtado have been releasing songs like “Abrázame,” “Coleccionista de Canciones,” “Todo Cambio,
” and “Mientes” since 2005, winning three Latin Grammy Awards and three Billboard Awards along the way.
On Sept. 18, Bronco will play at Mandalay Bay Beach as part of the property’s continuing Concerts on the Beach series.
The grupero band is celebrating its fifth decade of delighting fans with its unique blend of melodic pop, regional Mexican music, and extravagant jumpsuits.
