Christopher Lloyd and Jaeden Martell star as the ‘titular cartoon’ pair in a ‘new live-action short’ for Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty. Rick and Morty,
oddly enough, was inspired by ‘Back to the Future ‘, with its two main characters being modeled after
‘Doc Brown and Marty’ McFly.

star Martell as his shy grandson Morty. T.
One of Rick’s experiments has apparently gone wrong once again.
The video starts with his usual portal opening up in the real world, with live-action Rick and Morty
walking out a few minutes later.
The space is a replica of Rick’s lab from the show, as fans will note. Lloyd’s Rick laments, “Morty, we’re
ancient,” replete with the character’s characteristic belch midway through his sentence.
Morty, understandably disturbed, replies, “Oh, jeez

which seems to be a promotional tool for the show’s impending season 5 finale.
It’s unknown whether or not there will be further video with Lloyd and Martell as the characters, or
whether it will play a role in the Rick and Morty series.
That may depend on how well the new video is received by fans since it has already gone viral on social
media just after its release.
If we’re fortunate, we could see more Rick and Morty live-action ventures in the future.

Christopher Lloyd said so he enjoys Rick and Morty in the past. In a 2018′ interview with the Phoenix’
New Times, he even stated that having a role on the show, possibly as Rick’s father, would be “fun.” At the
time, the actor said,
“I don’t watch it regularly, but I’ve seen a few episodes and have to say, it’s a lot of fun. I’m aware that it’s
a parody of Doc and Marty.”

Rick and Morty’s fifth season finale will air on Adult Swim on September 5.
Season 6 has yet to be announced, but the creators have previously assured fans that the wait between
seasons will be shorter thanks to their promise of 70 new episodes.
