Jin himself was not present for the performance, as he is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service in Korea. Last October, Jin performed “The Astronaut” with Coldplay in Chile, and during that performance, Chris Martin shared the story behind the creation of the song. He explained how, six months prior, one of the members of BTS called him and requested a song that would serve as a goodbye to fans while he was away serving in the military. Martin agreed, and the result was the beautiful and poignant “The Astronaut.”
The performance was a visual spectacle, with the band members, singers, and performers all dressed in bright and colorful outfits, creating a vivid and immersive experience for the audience. The high energy of the performance and the infectious melody of “The Astronaut” had the audience swaying and singing along, creating a truly unforgettable moment.
Coldplay continues to remain at the forefront of the music industry, delivering innovative and captivating performances that always leave a lasting impression on fans. Their music and live performances never fail to amaze, and this performance of “The Astronaut” was no exception. With the next leg of their tour just around the corner, fans can look forward to even more incredible experiences from the band in the future.
