Dallas Cowboys’ plan for DE vs. Chargers’ to play Rookie Parsons.
“I don’t have to be the man,” Parsons says of being the defensive middlepiece of Dallas. “I want to be the man, though.”
Since DeMarcus Lawrence saw his ability as a passerby in front of the training camp, the Dallas Cowboys’ first-round rookie, Mike Parsons, who played defensive end, has been picked up.
“You go over like that, Rook? “asked Lawrence after a movie session with Parsons.
“Yes,” Parsons said. “Yes.” “I used to be an end of defense.”
The next thing you know is that Lawrence tutored Parsons abruptly, as the Cowboys visited the Los Angeles Chargers without Lawrence’s services. He will probably miss the next 2 months because of a ruptured foot.
“I don’t have to be the man,” Parsons stated to become the defensive core of Dallas. “I want to be the man, though.”
“The man,” as the Cowboys all week suggested, in Parsons’ instance meant that a Penn State product would make the defensive-end, or better termed “designated pass-rusher’ ‘available at least occasionally.
Is it possible for Justin Herbert to include the QB in the Dallas defense? GAMEDAY
Parsons was selected at the number 12 position and was the best defensive player in this class in Dallas. Versatility is one of the reasons, and since Parson ends, Leighton Vander Esch is given more snapshots at linebacker because of Parsons, and maybe the general standard of defense.
With Lawrence’s injured foot on the COVID list along with Randy Gregory, Dallas is at the end. The Cowboys may be looking for assistance next week. Now, however?
