Dalvin Cook Injury: Vikings RB reportedly ‘unlikely’ to play vs. Seahawks.
Dalvin Cook, the Minnesota Vikings’ running back, isn’t expected to play in Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Dalvin Cook seemed to have a decent chance of playing for the Minnesota Vikings in their important Week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks as the week started.
Cook’s ankle ailment, though, made it impossible for him to participate in any of the Vikings’ three practice sessions this week. Despite not practicing all week, Minnesota’s running back is classified as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Cook will be on the field as the Vikings try to win their first game against Seattle since 2009.

Dalvin Cook Injury: Minnesota Vikings RB not expected to play vs. Seattle Seahawks.
Cook is probably the most essential component of Minnesota’s attack,
but the brilliant running back is unlikely to play against the Seahawks, who are already a tough club to beat.
Cook,
according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Sunday, is “unlikely” to suit up for the Vikings in Week 3 against Russell Wilson and the Seahawks.
According to Schefter, as the week progressed, there was a “less confident tone” about Cook’s chances of playing against the Seahawks on Sunday.
If Minnesota’s best running back does get on the field in Week 3,
don’t expect him to be the same workhorse he’s been in the past.
If Cook plays on Sunday, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport predicts that he will be “very restricted.”
Whether or not Cook plays against Seattle,
we should anticipate Vikings running back Alexander Mattison to play a significant part in the game.
Mattison ran for 112 yards on 20 attempts and caught three receptions for 24 yards in Minnesota’s Week 5 defeat to the Seahawks last season.
