During the Game of Thrones reunion, Jason Momoa takes Emilia Clarke off her feet.
In the HBO series, Clarke and Momoa portrayed the on-screen pair of Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen.
He’s still her sun, stars, and moon… and she’s still his life’s moon.
Former Game of Thrones cast mates Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke reunited for a great night out honoring Thrones co-creator David Benioff’s birthday over the weekend, giving Westeros its own mini-reunion.
On Instagram, both stars posted photos from the event. Momoa is practically sweeping the Mother of Dragons off her feet in Clarke’s picture.
“When your sun and stars roll into town, make sure he can still bench press a Khaleesi,” Clarke tweeted, adding the hashtags “# drinkingwithdrogoimamazedwesurvived # theboysarebackintown # likeheneverleft” and “# drinkingwithdrogoimamazedwesurvived # theboysarebackintown # likeheneverleft.”
Momoa shared a picture of the two of them sitting together, with Clarke on Momoa’s lap. “MY LIFE’S MOON” You are amazing and I will always adore you. ” Momoa captioned his picture with # smileyeyes and tagged his on-screen wife. “Aloha j, happy birthday Benioff, you beautiful, generous, badass leo.”
The romance didn’t stop there. Momoa wrote, “love you forever moon of my life” with several emoji hearts in a remark on Clarke’s picture.

In the famous fantasy series, Clarke and Momoa portrayed the on-screen pair of Danereys Targaryen and Khal Drogo, and despite Momoa’s brief appearance on the show, the two have maintained a strong relationship over the years. Both have kept themselves busy since leaving Game of Thrones, with Momoa now shooting Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Clarke prepping for her part in Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion.
The Targaryen name will continue on in the realm of Westeros in the forthcoming prequel series House of the Dragon, which will debut on HBO Max in 2022. The series is based on George R.R. Martin’s 2018 book Fire & Blood, which recounts the tale of the Dance of the Dragons, a brutal House Targaryen civil war set hundreds of years before the events of Game of Thrones.
