Elizabeth Olsen Debuted a New Blunt Bob at the 2021 Emmys.
If you’re accustomed to seeing Elizabeth Olsen with long, red hair and a Scarlet Witch helmet, her appearance on the red carpet for the 2021 Emmy Awards may surprise you.
The Wandavision actress and candidate for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series wore a dress by The Row, the designer founded by her sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley.
Despite the fact that her fitted cream dress has a long history, Olsen’s stunning blunt bob stole the show.

Her hair part to one side and raised barely off her shoulders; if I estimate, it newly cut within an hour of her red carpet appearance.
(Stylist Adir Abergel even shared a behind-the-scenes Instagram photo of the cut-in process.) It’s a deceptively
basic cut that is done and sculpt to highlight both her gown’s neckline and diamond drop earrings.
What goes well with beautiful hair? Elegant, traditional, no-frills makeup (well, no apparent frills, but it’s an award
ceremony, after all) Pati Dubroff created the look using a Chanel product range.
“I wanted the face to have a delicate structure with matte brown sculpted eyes and a diffused deep nude lip,” she said.
Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Fidélité, paired with Le Crayon Lèvres Lip Pencil in Nude Brun, is Olsen’s “deep nude.”
The deep browns continue with matte eye makeup using colors from the Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow in Clair Obscur palette.
Dubroff and Olsen skipped the fake lashes in favor of “a couple” applications of Inimitable Mascara in Noir Pur to accentuate her eyes.
It’s only appropriate that Olsen, who plays a variety of comedy stars on Wandavision over the years, would pay
homage to her Hollywood forefathers with a sophisticated red carpet outfit.
And, most of all, she’s free to explore now that she’s shown she can pull off traditional elegance on the carpet.
We can’t wait to see what you plan for Mary-Kate and Ashley (and Adir and Patti) at the Emmys in 2022.
