Florence Pugh is in discussions to reprise her role in the Dune sequel.
According to reports, Florence Pugh is in discussions to join the cast of ‘Dune: Part 2’.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 26-year-old actress is being considered for a new role in Denis Villeneuve’s Oscar-nominated remake of the legendary sci-fi classic as Princess Irulan, the daughter of Emperor Shaddam IV, who is also yet to be cast.
There are three parts to play, including Feyd-Rautha, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen’s vicious younger nephew and Paul Atreides’ arch-nemesis (Timothee Chalamet).

Florence is rumored to be awaiting the newest draft of the screenplay before committing to join the sequel, as well as ensuring that her schedule allows her to film the film.
Filming will begin “by the end of the summer,” according to the director.
Denis recently revealed that ‘Dune: Part 2’ would be “more demanding” than the previous picture, with Timothee, Rebecca Ferguson (Lady Jessica), and Zendaya (Chani) all reprising their roles.
He said, ” “I’d say it’s mostly intended. The fact that this is the first time I’ve revisited a universe is helping us right now. So I’m working with the same group, and we all know what we’re doing and how it’ll turn out.
“The film will be more difficult, but we know where we’re going. In addition, the script has been completed. As a result, I am confident. To be honest, the pandemic is the one huge uncertainty for me right now.”
‘Dune’ has received ten Oscar nominations, but some fans were disappointed by the lack of attention on the malevolent Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgard), which Denis argues was due to the fact that the book was adapted into two films.

The 54-year-old filmmaker expressed his thoughts as follows: “In order for things to come to life when you adapt, you must make big decisions. I’d want to have more freedom with the second one, so I’ll be able to go a little more into some of these aspects.”
Denis went on to say: “It’s similar to a chess game. In the second half, some new characters will be introduced, and I decided early on that the first part would be more about Paul Atreides and the Bene Gesserit, and his experience of coming into touch with a foreign society for the first time.
“In the second phase, there will be a lot more Harkonnen.”
