The Met Gala is about declarations and a statement on women’s rights has utilized by two participants in 2021’s fashion events of the year.
Model and actress Cara Delevingne made her entry in a white Dior jacket and pants and wore the “Peg the Patriarchy” in red letters.
“This is about empowering women. It’s like hanging it on the guy, “Delevingne told Vogue about Delevingne.
Meanwhile, Carolyn Maloney (D) from New York City put a lace and satin gown of purple, white and gold—the colors of the voting movement—with “the equality of women’s rights and the ERA Yes,” which have stitched again and over.
The “ERA Yes,” which would ban gender discrimination, means the Equal Rights Amendment.
“Female rights are being attacked all across the nation,” tweeted Maloney. “I utilized fashion for a long time to alter the force 4. With the reopening of its first show honoring American designers, the Met Costume Institute calls 4 to be certified to be ERA so that women may be equal once and for all.”
