In a stunning new video, Euphoria finally discloses the season 2 release date.
In a stunning new teaser, HBO revealed the release date of Euphoria’s highly anticipated second season.
Rue Bennett (Zendaya) is a heroin addict who is having to adjust to life after leaving treatment.
Euphoria’s first season premiered in 2019, followed by two specials in the two years thereafter.
On November 23, the highly praised series released the teaser for its second season, which seemed to tease viewers that everything is about to change.
“Everything seems so permanent when you’re younger,” Rue says in the trailer. “However, when you grow older, you realise that nothing is permanent, and everyone you care about might go.” Newcomer Dominic Fike, as well as original cast members Sydney Sweeney (Cassie), Alexa Demie (Maddy), Barbie Ferreira (Kat), and Mauda Apatow, make their debut appearances in the teaser (Lexi). The fast-paced promo doesn’t reveal much about what’s in store for this season, but it does indicate that it will premiere on January 9, 2022.

Zendaya recently discussed her role and the “intense” season ahead in an interview with Teen Vogue.
“It’s a rough season, and I’m in the thick of it,” she remarked. We’re in the middle of it, I had a 2:30 a.m. wrap time last night. The concert, on the other hand, was intense.”
The 24-year-old also spoke on the significance of her character Rue as well as the show’s difficult topic.
“It’s absolutely difficult, it’s a difficult season,” she added. “It’ll be difficult at times, and it’ll be terrible at others, but I believe Rue deserves all of that attention when it comes to her character, because I believe she symbolises a lot for so many people.”

“With our portrayals of Rue [and] where all the characters go, I aim to make those individuals proud.” However, I believe that this season will not be simple. I don’t believe it’ll be entertaining to watch. Sometimes.”
Season two of Euphoria premieres on January 9th, and you can see the trailer below or by clicking here.
Fans believe Zendaya is ‘coming for the Emmys again’ in the second season of Euphoria, as the first teaser is released.
The series, which stars Zendaya, premiered in 2019 and was followed by two Christmas specials the previous year.
Euphoria follows Rue (Zendaya), a California high school student and recovering addict, and her classmates. For its no-holds-barred portrayal of sex and drug use among teens, it has received both acclaim and condemnation.
Rue is shown dancing manically around the room in the latest teaser, implying that she is once again utilising narcotics.
We get a quick glimpse of some of the other characters, including Hunter Schafer’s Jules, as well as a few out-of-context shots, including one of someone clutching a pistol.
