Fitzgerald has a total of 1,432 receptions throughout his career. He has 17,492 receiving yards to his credit. He also has 121 touchdowns to his credit. All of this happened despite the quarterback position being basically a revolving door.
Fitzgerald is without a doubt the Cardinals’ top wide receiver. But where has he gone since then? He isn’t on the Cardinals’ sideline for the first time since 2003. Instead, Arizona will have a stacked receiving corps that will be without its longest-serving and most popular player.

Could a chance to win the Super Bowl persuade Fitzgerald to rethink his mind? He said that he wants to win a Super Bowl, but that he isn’t sure whether he enjoys “the process” of getting there enough where he is now.
“The chase is the Lombardi Trophy,” Fitzgerald remarked, “but you have to appreciate the process of seeking the Lombardi Trophy.” “That’s the portion that matters the most.”

If Larry Fitzgerald chose to come back, the Cardinals would most likely welcome him with open arms. Last season, his career-low 7.6 yards per reception would have been the sole source of worry. Hopkins, A.J. Green, Christian Kirk, and Rondale Moore provide solid receiving depth for the club, but Fitzgerald would have provided experience and an option to help replace Hopkins’ output while he is out of the lineup.
Would Fitzgerald, on the other hand, be interested in returning for a cameo? That is still a mystery. At this moment, it seems like he will not participate in the NFL playoffs in 2022 and will instead enjoy his pseudo-retirement.
