On the second anniversary of their sad deaths, a statue of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna was dedicated.
It’s been two years since NBA great Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna were tragically killed in a car accident. A temporary monument of Kobe and Gianna Bryant was constructed at the disaster site by Los Angeles-based artist Dan Medina to remember the Bryants and the seven other victims of a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020 near Calabasas, Calif.

Gianna, who is clutching a basketball and is staring up at Kobe Bryant, is shown in the bronze statue with her arm around Bryant, who is wearing the Lakers outfit. Gianna Bryant, who died together with her father while going to a minor basketball competition, was similarly decked up in the sport’s garb.
The base of the monument now has the names of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, as well as the seven other people who perished in the disaster. Legends are everlasting; heroes come and go, but they never die.
As of Wednesday, Medina was hauling the Kobe and Gianna Bryant monuments up an embankment. On the other hand, Medina intends to take it down before sundown in order to campaign for a chance to construct a bigger, permanent replica.
A monumental statue would be an appropriate tribute to honour Kobe Bryant’s illustrious career in the NBA. He played with the Lakers for two decades, winning five championships, the scoring title twice, being named to 12 all-defensive teams, and being selected to 18 all-star games.
