Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota,
whose popularity has grown “in conservative media during the” epidemic, has slammed one of the “right-
wing media’s most” famous “bloggers for what she” called (horrible misogyny) Early in the epidemic,
Noem, a Republican who “has -been mentioned as a possible” presidential contender in 2024, received
plaudits from conservatives for opposing mask requirements. Right-wing commentators have criticized
her for lately refusing to block private companies from adopting vaccination mandates.
Matt Walsh, a hardline Daily Wire” right-wing blogger”, and podcaster claimed she was “of no service.”
‘During a recent episode of” his podcast, he stated, “Kristi Noem is a really beautiful lady.” “So that’s
something she’s got going for her.”

(“As far as” I can tell, that’s the only reason she was ever seen as a possible frontrunner in 2024,)
he added. “The conservative media’s hoopla and everything she’s received is completely predicated on the
fact that she’s a very beautiful lady, which she is.”
“But you put another 20 years on her and 50 pounds on her? I don’t believe she is aware of the hoopla
“Walsh came to a conclusion.
In a tweet on Wednesday evening, Noem blasted the comments.
“Instead of debating the appropriate role of government and how it isn’t conservative to tell individuals how to run their businesses,” she said, “[Walsh] resorted to terrible misogyny.
” “Eyes up here, Matt,” says the narrator.
She claimed she used to “rope bulls” that were “larger than [Walsh]”
when she was a teenager in a tweet from her own account. Walsh “couldn’t walk a day in my shoes,” she claimed,
implying that he was a “steer.”
The dispute may mark the end of Noem’s honeymoon time among right-wing media. It also shows how fast
certain conservative media outlets may lose interest in the right’s greatest star politicians.
“Walsh stood by his” comments, tweeting a statement he gave to a Newsweek reporter on Thursday.
In that remark, he stated, “No, I do not regret expressing an apparent fact.”
“However, I will take apologies from all of the acting fools who claim to be offended by it.”
In another tweet, he expressed regret for his detractors, calling them “all a bunch of stupid, whiney kids.”
