Kristin Chenoweth
Although Kristin Chenoweth had a compelling performance in Trial and Error, now days she would much rather be in a real courtroom. I’m No Philosopher, But I Got Thoughts, a chapter from Cheno’s most recent book, was discussed on the January 16 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
In this chapter, Cheno discusses nearly dying while filming The Good Wife in 2012. She suffered an injury from lighting gear while filming. She claims that she woke up at Bellevue after hearing, “We’re losing the light,” “Action!” and other words in that order. “It threw me onto a curb and smacked me in the face. Seven-inch skull fracture, broken teeth, ribs, and shattered hairline. Later, she discovered that her hair extensions had really saved her life.
She now regrets not pursuing damages. Cheno said to Cohen, “I didn’t do it out of dread and concern. So, never let your emotions control your actions. She continued, “I wish I had listened to my dad when he said, “You’re going to want to do this. We’re not “the suing family,” but if you’re nearly killed, then we are.
Cheno hasn’t heard back from CBS since the publication of the book, and when Cohen inquired about it, Cheno mouthed “no.” It appears that Tony Award-winning Sally Brown may need to retain a certain World Famous Attorney.
