Las Vegas Strip Welcomes Back Rock Legend Van Morrison
The Las Vegas Strip offers a diverse lineup of entertainment, including magic acts and big-name music performances.
To keep guests entertained when they are not gambling, hotel casinos on the Strip have turned to activities such as museums and stage performances.
Magic shows have been a staple on the Strip for many years, with David Copperfield performing since 1996, and Penn & Teller performing at the Rio since 2001. Siegfried and Roy were also a part of the entertainment lineup at the Mirage from 1990 to 2003.
In addition to the various casinos, the Strip is home to several museums, including the Mob Museum, the Neon Museum, the Pinball Hall of Fame, and Madame Tussauds. The Punk Rock Museum is set to debut on March 10th.
The Strip has also attracted classic rock performers such as John Fogerty, who appeared at the Encore Theater at the Wynn in November for a six-show run. Lionel Richie, the former lead singer of the Commodores, performed at the Wynn for six shows in October.
