Maren Morris Releases Rare Photos of Her 2-Year-Old Son
Maren Morris’ son Hayes is having a special day. Morris shared images from their farm visit on Instagram to commemorate the toddler’s second birthday. With her husband Ryan Hurd, the country singer has a kid named Hayes.
Morris, who isn’t known for sharing many images of her kid, did share a handful in celebration of his birthday. Morris, Hurd, and their kid had the opportunity to visit a nearby farm in Nashville, where he was able to touch some of the animals. Hayes also shared a brief video in her most recent post in which she attempts to replicate a goat sound. Morris may be heard giggling over the amusement. Even though she included photographs and a video of her kid in her newest post, she obscured his face with a white love emoji in one of the photos to protect his privacy.

Morris and Hurd are getting a jump start on their son’s birthday festivities, as he turns two on March 23. Hayes wore a new set of spectacles, as shown in her Instagram image. Morris informed her Twitter and Instagram followers ahead of his 2nd birthday that her kid inherited her “bad vision,” according to PEOPLE. “Hayes had to get glasses today and he looks so beautiful but I also feel guilty that I transferred my terrible vision onto him,” she posted on Twitter. On her Instagram Story, the singer also recognized the news by posting a picture of herself in her own frames. She added that everyone in their family began wearing fake glasses to aid Hayes’ transition (she also mentioned that she had LASIK eye surgery and no longer requires prescription lenses).
Morris and Hurd had their first child together in March 2020, as originally stated. They announced on social media at the time that the “joy of our life” was born on March 23. Morris revealed her pregnancy in October 2019 and subsequently joked about how odd it was that she was carrying a son. The singer, alluding to her sophomore album from this year, said, “The irony of the world providing us with a newborn boy after a year of living in the ‘GIRL’ mindset is simply too much to bear. Little one, I’ll see you in 2020.”
