Dem was born on March 3rd, 1999, to a Panjabi Sikh household for Guruharsahai.
Sandhu is a student at Kalia Public School and a graduate of the Post Graduate Government College for Women. She is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and English.
Di beauty queen began competing in pageants as a child and has since won many titles, including Miss Ferozepur 2017 and Miss Max Emerging Star India 2018.
Sandhu was named one of Miss Diva 2021’s Top 50 semi-finalists on August 16, 2021.
South Africa’s participation is contentious.

The Miss Universe pageant is one of the world’s biggest and most well-known beauty pageants.
However, Miss Lalela Mswane’s road to compete for Israel as Miss South Africa 2021 has been marred by scandal and has become a hot topic on social media.
This is after the South African government said that she would not be given a hand for her participation in the Miss Universal pageant.
For the inner statement that the government has made, the government has said that they are withdrawing their support for her to represent Israel in the Miss Universal competition.
Following demands for Mswane to boycott the contest, the government withdrew its support.
Those who oppose South Africa’s participation in the competition do so in protest of Israel’s alleged crimes against Palestinians.
South Africans claim that apartheid’s policies are well-known, and that as a result, they are not in favour of what is going on in Israel.
To be sure, South Africa has a long history of supporting Palestinian independence.
And the African Union has decided to award Israel observer status until July 2020.

Miss South Africa 2021 is Lalela Mswane, a South African model and beauty pageant title holder.
Dem gave birth to her on March 27, 1997.
Dem was born in the South African region of KwaZulu-Natal, at Richards Bay.
Her father, Muntu Mswane, was an Eswatini-born former ambassador and minister who died in 2010, and her mother, Hleliselwe, is a housewife and account clerk.
She is the youngest of three siblings.
Mswane enrolled at the University of Pretoria after completing her secondary school at Pro Arte Alphen Park in 2015. She subsequently graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree.
Mswane worked as a professional model before becoming Miss South Africa.
