Nobody has won the $635 million Powerball prize that was announced on Saturday.
A spokesman with the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) verified that Saturday’s projected $635 million Powerball drawing yielded no winner.
The numbers 28-38-42-47-52 were unlucky, and the Powerball was 1.
Also, The next drawing will take place on Monday evening.“Because there was no jackpot winner, the prize for Monday’s drawing has increased to $670 million ($474.8 million cash value),” MUSL spokeswoman Anna Domoto stated in an email.
According to Powerball, the Saturday drawing was the tenth biggest prize in US lottery history and the sixth-largest jackpot in Powerball history.
According to Powerball, the jackpot was last won in June and has grow for four months. One winning ticket for Saturday’s drawing would have been worth $450 million in cash.
In a statement, Powerball Product Group Chair and Missouri Lottery Executive Director May Scheve Reardon stated, “When the
jackpot hits this level, we have more players coming into the game, so we are constantly monitoring ticket sales to give an up-to-date
jackpot estimate.”
Also, The biggest prize ever won in a US lottery is slightly north of $1.5 billion.
In January 2016, three winners shared a $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot.
A South Carolinian secretly claimed a $1.537 billion Mega Millions win in October 2018.
Also, The long chances of winning the jackpot — one in 292.2 million — haven’t altered.
The projected jackpot sum is for winners who want to be paid over 29 years via an annuity.
The cash option is preferred by the majority of winners, which in Monday’s drawing would be worth an estimated $474.8 million before taxes.
Powerball is a lottery game that is played in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and also the United States Virgin
Islands.
