Shawn Mendes And Camila Cabello Had Separate Fashion Moments At 2021.
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello attended the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn tonight, making it their first award show date night of the year. Cabello donned a pink and red dress with bow decoration, while Mendes wore a long white jacket, white trousers, and a white top. Mendes arrived first, so the two did not appear on the carpet together. Mendes is up for Best Pop Song tonight with “Wonder,” and both he and Cabello are scheduled to perform.
The two were spotted enjoying lunch in New York City earlier on Sunday. In one scene, Cabello was seen sobbing, and Mendes consoled her and kissed her. Later that evening, on the VMAs red carpet, Mendes exclaimed, “my girlfriend,” putting an end to any rumors of a split. “Actually, I’m really looking forward to seeing my girlfriend perform. I believe the performance will be amazing ” he added talking about Cabello.
The couple’s VMA attendance comes after their appearance at the Miami premiere of Camila Cabello’s Amazon Prime flick Cinderella earlier this month. Cabello and Mendes have been dating for almost two years. In July, they celebrated their anniversary.

During an interview with SiriusXM Hits 1’s Celebrity Session in December, Mendes discussed how it feels to be in a relationship with Cabello.
These are some of his most honest comments regarding their relationship.
He said, “She is totally all in or nothing.” “And I don’t believe I was like that at the start of our relationship.
And I believe that many people are scared to go all in because if you go all in, you sort of harm yourself. The impact is amplified if it comes to an end, you know? But she tells me that since we only have one life and a limited amount of time here, we may as well go all-in if we love someone and are present. And I was learning it every day. She is very patient with me, particularly when I am worried or when something is bothering me. She’ll send me a text message. And if I’m ever being a little bitchy with her, she’ll say, ‘It’s alright.’ I’m in love with you. Whatever happens, I will always adore you.’ And it’s like, wow, that’s true bravery, patience, and love. But it’s incredible. It’s like something out of a movie.”
