FIRST QUARTER — HIGHLIGHT: The offence got off to a good start, with Tua Tagovailoa receiving terrific pass protection on the first play and then completing a 20-yard ball to DeVante Parker.
— HIGHLIGHT: After a downfield penalty for an ineligible man negated a 14-yard screen pass to Myles Gaskin, Duke Johnson retaliated with a 16-yard run up the middle courtesy to a wide hole.
— LOWLIGHT: Tua gets sacked on third-and-10 from the Miami 48 on a play when the quarterback couldn’t find anybody open.
— LOWLIGHT: Punting into a small breeze, Michael Palardy starts his day with a 37-yard punt that, when paired with a 9-yard return, results in a net of just 28 yards.
— HIGHLIGHT: On Tennessee’s opening drive, the Dolphins force a three-and-out thanks to superb coverage by Xavien Howard on third-and-10 and an off-target ball by Ryan Tannehill.
— HIGHLIGHT: After giving way to Tommylee Lewis, Jaylen Waddle returns punts for a season-best 15 yards, surpassing his previous high of 7 yards.

SECOND QUARTER — HIGHLIGHT: After a short pass, safety Eric Rowe makes a sure tackle on tight end Anthony Firkser to block him from getting a first down and forcing Tennessee to settle for a field goal. Titans win by a score of 10 to 0 against the Dolphins.
— HIGHLIGHT: Johnson kicks off the next drive with 14 and 11-yard runs to get the ball to midfield. There’s some excellent blocking in the centre once again.
— HIGHLIGHT: On fourth-and-2 from the Tennessee 42, Tua fakes a handoff, rolls left, and throws a 15-yard touchdown pass to tight end Durham Smythe.
— LOWLIGHT: Facing third-and-10 from the Tennessee 27, the Dolphins choose for a (overly) cautious draw play to Johnson, who gains 6 yards.
— HIGHLIGHT: Sanders kicks a 39-yard field goal to cap a 10-play drive. The Titans defeated the Dolphins by a score of 10-3.
— HIGHLIGHT: On the subsequent play, freshman Jaelan Phillips chases down Foreman from behind and tackles him for a 1-yard loss on second-and-6 from the Miami 41.
— LOWLIGHT: Tennessee seems to stall with a third-and-7 incompletion on the following play, but defensive pass interference is called on Nik Needham. during a play that had a lot of contact from both sides (receiver and defender).
— LOWLIGHT: Foreman finds a hole on the right side of the field, Holland takes a terrible angle, and the consequence is a 21-yard touchdown run for Foreman. The Titans defeated the Dolphins by a score of 17-3.
— HIGHLIGHT: Tua completes successive 14-yard passes to Mike Gesicki, including his finest throw of the game, a low pass to his receiver that moves the Dolphins from their 25 to the Tennessee 46.
— LOWLIGHT: The drive comes to a halt after three straight incompletions, including two almost intercepted passes.
THIRD QUARTER — HIGHLIGHT: On the opening drive of the second half, Tennessee drives from its 25 to the Miami 38, but Jerome Baker stops it as he effortlessly sneaks by a blocking back to sack Tannehill for a 10-yard loss.
— HIGHLIGHT: On a third-and-1 from their 22, the Dolphins put in Jacoby Brissett as quarterback, and his bomb to Waddle is incomplete, but Bud Dupree receives a 15-yard roughing-the-passer penalty.
— HIGHLIGHT: Gesicki’s 15-yard completion and Smythe’s 21-yard completion send the ball to Tennessee’s 27-yard line.
— LOWLIGHT: Tua moves to his right on first down but throws a short pass over Waddle’s head.
— LOWLIGHT: On third down, Harold Landry goes by right tackle Jesse Davis, causing the Titans to collapse the Dolphins’ left side of the line, resulting in an 8-yard sack.
— LOWLIGHT: A 45-yard field goal try becomes a 53-yarder after the sack, as Sanders’ effort hits the crossbar and rebounds back into the field of play.
LOWLIGHT OF THE FOURTH QUARTER: The Dolphins go for broke and execute a two-lateral play that finishes with the ball in Gesicki’s hands, who tries a long throw to Myles Gaskin despite being triple-covered. The pass, thankfully, is unfinished.
Tua throws a 45-yard pass to the left side for a gain of 45 yards to the Tennessee 26-yard line.
— LOWLIGHT: The Dolphins try another trick play, this time resulting in Tua being hit from behind and fumbling, but Liam Eichenberg recovering the ball.
— LOWLIGHT: The Dolphins try for it on fourth-and-11 from the 27-yard line, but the referees overlook what seemed to be blatant defensive pass interference. To make things worse, Parker’s outburst is met with a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike behaviour, which is applied from the dead ball area.
— LOWLIGHT: On third-and-1 from the Miami 49, the Titans call the Wildcat, and Foreman rips through a hole up the middle for a 35-yard gain.
Tannehill executes a play-action fake two plays later and connects with tight end Anthony Firkser for a 15-yard score. The Titans defeated the Dolphins by a score of 24-3.
— LOWLIGHT: The Dolphins advance to their 44 on the following play, facing a fourth-and-2 situation, but Parker slows his route and Tua throws deeper, resulting in an incompletion and a turnover on downs.
