Ohio State football will face the Oregon Ducks for the first time since the Buckeyes won their latest College Football Championship in January 2015 at noon on Sept. 11 at Ohio Stadium. The two schools meet in Ohio.
The Buckeyes and the Ducks should play a pair of games with OSU in 2020, but the COVID-19 epidemic stopped this matchup.
In 2032 and 2033, Ohio State is again playing Oregon.
From Ohio State, rated No. 3 in both the coaches’ and the AP rankings, came a 45-31 victory, in which the Buckeyes were halftime behind Minnesota. Oregon has surviolated 31-24 fears from the state of Fresno as one of the top players in the nation, Kayvon Thibodeaux, while the poll was rated No. 12 in an AP poll and No. 11 in the Coach’s poll.

The Buckeyes are losing
The Buckeyes lost a game in the regular season under Ryan Day’s coaching in Columbus, as Oregon had a 35-28 victory over the season.

Today, though, Jaxson Smith-Njigba appears to be having a unique relationship with C.J. Stroud at quarterback. The newest is a 15-yard reception with two touchdown receptions and a daily 111 yards.

Because of its success in the running game, Oregon has been able to utilize play action to create a touchdown grab by Moliki Matavao. The catch of 14 yards was today’s first for the narrow end. It was the second TD of Anthony Brown’s career.
Henderson gave the Ducks (28-Buckeyes 21) his first college-running TD.
As TreVeyon Henderson raced ahead of time for a two-yard score, Ohio state had a very quick touchdown of the day. Henderson’s run in a collegiate game for the first time as well. His TD pass of 77 yards came on C.J. Stroud’s throw versus Minnesota.
On the fourth, Oregon will halt the Buckeyes.
Chris Olave of Ohio State has fiercely argued for the interference of the last zone, but there was no call and the Buckeyes were not successful this afternoon on all three of their fourth trials.

The Ducks rebounded it for a new touchdown outside. It was 5 yards into the end zone of Travis Dye. This afternoon, OSU has abandoned 223 running yards.
Josh Proctor of Ohio State was injured.

Verdell proved to be a versatile player: he ran for 49 yards, caught 34 yards, and each one scored.

Oregon’s defense has at least temporarily lost the services of Treven Ma’ae linebacker, while it has also played without Kayvon Thibodeaux, Justin Flowe, and Dru Mathis. After a clear lower leg injury, the redshirt freshman had to be assisted off the field.
C.J. Stroud overrides early drive objectives
After a few high throws by quarterback C.J. Stroud, the first drive of Ohio State ends when the Buckeyes do not convert to seven and four. However, it wasn’t a terrible drive for the new guy. He began the game with 4-of-6 throws for 25 yards.
Scouts from the NFL are planned for the game today.
The Ohio state now reserves seats for the Chargers (2), Bengals (2), Panthers (3), Bears, Colts (2), Vikings, and Steelers from Kansas City and Washington. How did it warm up in the secondary?

Cornerbacks Sevyn Banks and Cameron Brown will be returning against the Ducks last week in the Buckeyes’ season opener in Minnesota.
Neither has been reported as not available three hours before kickoff at Ohio Stadium in its weekly status report.
