Tiger Woods House and backyard practise area
How big is it, and how much did it cost?
Tiger Woods‘ Jupiter Island, Fla., home makes his old Windermere, Fla., home seem tiny and cheap.
Woods and his then-wife Elin Nordegren paid an estimated $40 million for the 12-acre grounds and the 9,000-square-foot-plus seaside villa that stood on the site in 2006.
Then they demolished the old home. The Woodses demolished the Jupiter Island house while staying at their Isleworth home in Windermere to construct a new home and restructure the property.

Divorce and the Completion of the Jupiter Island House
The Woods’ marriage ended in divorce in 2010, which also occurred to be the year that the Jupiter Island property was remodelled, with the addition of a “backyard” practise facility. The end product is seen in the photo: The home is set back from the Intracoastal Waterway, with most of the “yard” dedicated to a golf practise field on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Woods relocated to Jupiter Island in 2011, after Nordegren abandoned her Isleworth property for a new (and different) residence.
Cary Lichtenstein, a Florida luxury realtor and golf property specialist, initially described the golf practise facility in the blog on JeffRealty.com, and his interpretation of the picture above was very good.
The Training Center
Tiger Woods, on the other hand, detailed the practise facilities in a blog post on his website in March 2011. Woods, who said that he will be moving into his Jupiter Island house “very soon,” labelled the practise facility as a Tiger Woods Design project. Woods stated:
“I conceived and managed the development of the short-game facility with my team. It has four greens, six bunkers of varying depths and sand types, a multimedia centre, and a putting studio. When there is no wind, the longest club I can hit is a 7-iron. It’s also set up so that I can shoot from my second-story studio.”
TigerWoods.com also disclosed the following information:
The four greens are all shaped differently, and turfgrass management techniques allow for fine-tuning of green speeds.
Different kinds of grass are utilised around the site to simulate various playing situations.
In various sites, the grass is maintained at both fairway and rough heights.
It has a “wedge range” that enables you to practise any shot from 150 yards or fewer.

The main house has his-and-her master baths, three bedroom suites in addition to the master, a gym, media room, basement wine cellar, and its own elevator.
There is also a separate guest tiger woods house and a detached garage on the property. Tiger Woods’ boat, the Privacy, may reportedly be anchored on the Intracoastal side of the estate if Woods so desires.
In 2011, Woods moved into the house. However, problems with the residence developed in 2013, with various news outlets reporting that the Jupiter Island house was sinking. Yes, I’m sinking.
Foundation issues are frequent in Florida because to the soil conditions, and can impact even the rich. Tiger Woods allegedly saw fissures in the walls and doors that grew “sticky” when door frames moved. Engineers were brought in, and they recommended sinking deep pilings under the home to support it. Tiger Woods’s First Residence in Isleworth

Tiger purchased his first tiger woods house over ten years before acquiring the Jupiter Island mansion. Tiger Woods bought a property in the upscale Isleworth enclave in Windermere, Fla., a suburb of Orlando, in 1996.
Woods lived there alone himself until he met Nordegren. Tiger Woods and Nordegren married in 2004, and they resided in the Isleworth mansion until their divorce in 2010. Tiger Woods held the house when he and Nordegren split, albeit his new house on Jupiter Island was nearing construction at the time, and he moved out soon after.
Woods’ Isleworth house is across the street from the Isleworth Country Club driving range and backs up to a canal where he had a few personal watercraft parked in the shot above. A swimming pool may be seen in the backyard.
