Are you still looking for an Xbox Series X ?
That’s probably not going to change anytime soon, but you can buy a tiny fridge that looks exactly like it. The $99 zoa xbox mini fridge X, once a famous internet meme, is now a very real device that you can pre-order right now from Target before it comes in December – just in time for staying fueled during extended Halo Infinite sessions.
While this isn’t the six-foot-tall Xbox fridge that the company revealed as a marketing gimmick last year, the Xbox Mini Fridge seems like a fun and possibly useful addition to your gaming room or home office. This little home appliance looks just like an Xbox Series X, only it opens up to hold up to 12 beverage cans and has a couple shelves on the sides for extras and snacks. It also includes a front-facing LED light, similar to the system that inspired it, as well as a USB-A connector for charging your phone or Xbox controller.
the “initial wave” of the Mini Fridge is available only at Target, with the device expected to be available at more shops in December. Given the online buzz around it, we expect it to sell out just as rapidly as the Xbox Series X itself – so keep your pre-order fingers crossed.
Xbox appears to be aware of the huge demand for its meme-turned-hot product, stating that it is “working to deliver the Xbox Mini Fridge to as many fans as possible, and will continue to increase regional availability in 2022.”
In the meanwhile, keep an eye on this Target page for your opportunity to purchase one. As of our last check, the fridge was out of stock, however we recommend leaving the page open and refreshing regularly. As always, we’ll keep you up to speed on the latest Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S replenishment updates for anyone still trying to get their hands on one of Microsoft’s new consoles in time for the holidays.
Please keep in mind that the prices stated above are those of the shops at the time of publishing.
